How Do Climbing Tree Stands Work?
Fold and Transport The mobility of a climbing tree stand allows you to change your hunting location as often as you want because you do not attach it permanently to a tree. The climbing tree stand weighs about 30 pounds and it folds up so you can carry it on your back similar to carrying a backpack. When the direction of the wind changes or the nearby farmer is harvesting crops, you just fold it up and move to a new location. Simply remove the safety latches to disconnect the cables, lay the landing in over the frame, lay the cables on the landing, and fold the arms of the frame in on top. The unit should be relatively flat. Lift it up and slide your arms through the straps to carry it on your back. Climbing Up the Tree Open the arms of the frame. Run the cable around the tree and connect it to the other side of the frame using the draw pin. Step in between the two pieces facing the tree. The piece with the teeth should be facing the tree down near your feet. Grip the arms of the frame
