How do Christmases in England differ from Christmases in America?

England doesn’t have eggnog. I have no idea what eggnog actually is, but I’ve seen it on American shows and we definitely don’t have the equivalent. We drink mulled wine and eat mince pies. And I call Father Christmas Father Christmas, although the word Santa is becoming a standard term. Some people decorate their houses with a lot of tacky lights and inflatable snowmen (and the like). Dunno if Americans do that. I’d guess so.
