Knowing what a child should be able to do and by what age can help you make activity choces and supply choices to assist in that development. Infants learning to walk love wood ramps and small steps becouse this helps them develop these skills. All infants are born with basic skills and the need to learn and learn in stages through out life. What developmental stage the child is in with help you determen what that child needs. As well it will help you determen what the child is lacking and help you set up activitys that will let the child practice these skills.
