How do Canteen and Personal Expenses work?
The camper canteen/personal expense fee is a flat fee for all campers. The $25/week fee is all-inclusive and covers all camper needs for the summer. There will be no bills for “Extra Expenses” (excluding Tennis) if a camper goes over the weekly amount at the end of the summer and no refunds from this fee if all is not used. Some weeks we may only use half of the weekly fee while other weeks might be twice the weekly fee. In either case this is a one time fee with no added charges and no refunds. This fee covers things such as, but not limited to, weekly canteen, movie night, Marlins baseball games, personal items from the toiletries stock, McNight Owls and Pizza Party for weekly award winners, Night Owls Milk shake winners, Eagles Landing and The Night Owls Stripe Awards and other special events and various awards throughout the summer.
