How do callers know how many minutes are left on a card?
The initial minute balance is printed on each card, generally on the top of the card. Every time a card is used, callers hear a “Minutes Remaining” message before being connected to their destination number as a reminder of the time remaining on the card. When a call is completed, the number of minutes used is deducted from the previous balance.
