How do burning candles, wood burning stoves and fires in fire places affect the Collector Cell?
Lit candles, wood burning stoves and fires from fireplaces all deposit soot in the home. Soot is very difficult to remove from anything without using harsh cleaning solutions. If the cell is soaked long enough (more than just a few hours) in mild warm soapy water, this should break apart the soot. Remember, the amount of soot varies in consumer s homes.
