How do birds feed their babies?

0

Birds feed their babies by feeding them partially-digested food. The parent birds eat the food as usual and partially digest it in their crop. Their crop is similar to our stomach; but, incredibly less sophisticated. The baby birds stimulate the parents to regurgitate the contents of their crop into their mouths. The babies then swallow this “milk” and finish digesting it on their own.
