How do benefits from corporate actions get effected?

0

In the event of any corporate action such as declaration of dividend, rights or bonus issues, NSDL/CDSL forwards to the concerned company, details of all clients having an electronic holding in that company as on the Record Date / Book Closure Date. In case of monetary benefits such as dividend / interest, the company will disburse the benefits directly to the client.
