How do behind-the-wheel lessons work?
There are two options available to you: a. The Permit Option (15.5 to 18 years old) After you complete drivers education and before you can take your permit test, the DMV requires that you enroll in drivers training. At DriversEd.com, you must enroll for a minimum two-hour lesson. After you sign up for those two hours, you’ll receive a Certificate of Enrollment needed to take your DMV written permit test. Once you pass the test and have your permit, you’re ready to schedule your first behind-the-wheel lesson. If you’re 18 or older, you do not need a Certificate of Enrollment in behind-the-wheel training and can take your DMV permit test at any time. Once you pass the permit test and have your permit, you can start behind-the-wheel lessons. Your permit gives you the ability to not only take behind-the-wheel lessons with an instructor but to practice driving with your parents after each professional lesson. b. The Student License Option (15 to 18 years old) Once you complete drivers educ
