How do bands transport their equipment when touring over seas?
It depends on the band. Some go commercially, some go on private jets. They can easily transport their personal instruments and smaller equipment using “road cases” for protection, but all the larger equipment is almost always rented once they arrive at their destination. It is simply not practical to ship a grand piano overseas, for instance.
