More than forty years after the initial report of antifreeze activity in Antarctic fish, we still remain ignorant of many aspects of how fish deal with the presence of ice. This talk will provide an introduction to biological antifreeze in Antarctic fish and address a number of the currently unanswered questions. This talk is part of the British Antarctic Survey series.
