How do absence strikes work?
Students receive a strike when they are absent for any reason. Please understand that this is partially an accounting system to keep track of absences. It is stated in the Choir Handbook that if you get 4 excused OR 3 unexcused absences per semester OR a combination of those adding up to no more than 4. Please be sure to send a note to the next rehearsal after a missed date and sign and return the strike form ASAP so your child does not receive another strike.
