How do able bodied people get disabled permits?
We require persons with disabilities to obtain an official Ontario Ministry of Transport Parking Permit, which is available to persons with non visible disabilities, such as asthma; sometimes an individual’s disability may not be readily apparent. In other cases, individual parkers may (improperly) lend their permit to a friend. In all cases, we encourage observers to place a detailed report with us (include license number) so that we may follow up with these individuals to ensure disability permits are not misused.
