How do able-bodied people get disabled permits?
We require persons with disabilities to obtain an IU Handicap permit, which is available to persons with non-visible disabilities, such as asthma; sometimes an individuals disability may not be readily apparent. In other cases, individual parkers may (improperly) lend their permit to a friend. In all cases, we encourage observers to place a detailed report with us (include license number) so that we may follow up with these individuals to ensure disability permits are not misused.
