AB Enzymes is a division of ABF Ingredients and was originally founded in 1907. Associated British Foods acquired the company in 1999. Who are they? AB Enzymes offers enzymes for food, animal feed, textile and pulp and paper applications. They are the sole distributor of Roal products. Where are they? Headquarters are in Darmstadt, Germany, but the company also has offices and warehouses in the USA, Singapore, China, Brazil and Poland. Production is based in Rajamäki, Finland and is a joint venture between ABF and Altia. What do they do? AB Enzymes offers enzymes for industrial applications worldwide. The products range from food enzymes for bakery products and beverages, through to enzymes for animal feed, textile technology and the pulp and paper industry. Interesting fact: AB Enzymes currently invests about 10% of their annual turnover into research and development.
