In Family Tree Maker, choose Copy/Export under the File Menu. Save as type “GEDCOM (*.GED)”. Click Save. Destination is FTW. Gedcom is 5.5. Character Set should be set to ASNI. Indent Records should be unchecked, and abreviate records should be checked. Then click OK.
