How dirty is extremely dirty when applying the Car Proud treatment directly on dirt?
Common sense is our main guide before we treat any customer’s vehicle. “Heavy” coatings of mud, clay, granules, salt spray, bugs, tar and tree sap are examples of things that should not be polished with the Car Proud treatment without first rinsing the surface. Our general rule is if the substance can not be penetrated by a fine mist of our treatment spray then it must first be carefully removed with water. We will always advise customers if we are of the opinion that the vehicles’ paint can not be safely treated.
