How difficult is it to pass the bar exam in the state of Nevada?
The Nevada State Bar is responsible for the Nevada bar exam. The Bar does not release past bar exam questions to the public. The Nevada bar exam, a 2½-day exam, consists of * the six-hour Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), weighted 33%; * one 90-minute Multistate Performance Test (MPT) problem; * eight 60-minute Nevada essay questions. The successful applicant must achieve a total scaled score of 75 on the exam as a whole, as well as passing at least 3 essays with a scaled score of 75. Applicants also must pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) with a scaled score of 85 within three years before or after passing the bar exam. Application packets are not currently available online. Application packets must be ordered from the bar for a $50 fee.
