How difficult is it to install a performance exhaust system?
While it’s not as simple as changing a light bulb, replacing your factory-installed exhaust system is a straightforward operation. After your shipment arrives, you will want to make a visual inspection of the parts, ensuring that nothing is missing. Then, just follow the instructions that come with your performance exhaust system. You will probably have to cut off your original exhaust pipes, so make sure you have access to either a reciprocating saw (recommended) or a sturdy hacksaw. You’ll also want to invite over a buddy or two to give you a hand positioning the new pipes. If you are concerned about doing the work yourself, many mechanics and muffler shops will do the job for varying prices. Keep in mind, though, that all our performance exhausts are designed for driveway installations.
