The lockers are shipped KD (knocked down) in boxes broken into components such as: sides, tops, bottoms, backs, shelves, hooks, etc. They are constructed using nuts and bolts that fit into pre-punched holes so that the finished product is a section of 2-5 lockers. Typically, it has taken other fire houses less than an hour to assemble a 5 locker section. Take a look at our Assembly Instructions for more information on locker assembly. Firefighters are “hands-on” type people with plenty of mechanical ability. We have a lot of confidence that you can construct these lockers. We are working on an installation video that we can send to people to make assembly and installation even easier.
