How different are historic bricks from new bricks?

0

The processes of making bricks over 100 years ago were much different than how bricks were made today. The coal-fired kilns of yesteryear allowed for some variation in color and texture. Now, most kilns are electric and do not create the same coloration effects. This and the natural aging/wear of the bricks are some of the characteristics that our clients find very attractive.
