How did you make the decision to leave pit row and join the Fox Sports broadcast booth?
It was one of the toughest decisions that my family has ever been faced with, but it’s a decision that we made together as a family. After three years, I have never looked back on. There is no question I certainly miss the role of being a crew chief, because of the people that are part of the Fox team that I work with, the tools that they have given us to work with, and the product that we have to talk about, I am having more fun as a NASCAR broadcast analyst than I probably deserve to have or that I could ever imagine. I enjoy it so much; I just recently signed a three-year contract extension with Fox Sports that carries me through 2007. JG24lovesme: How do you maintain a balance between work and family life?
