How did you get NIST and DoC to go along with OpenNIST?

More detail: The web site is paid for by Yahoo (and a little labor on my part :-). Yahoo is supported by a number of sources including advertising. So far I’ve found the advertising to be quite modest – the arrangement seems like a good deal.
