How did you discover Terry Pratchett and Discworld?
Well, I have always been a fan of Terry Pratchett’s books. I was introduced to them a long time ago, a friend of mine who runs animation company asked me to read it and said what did I think about it, would it make a good animated film. I said “Yes it would make a brilliant one.” Ever since then I’ve read two or three of the other Discworld books. I became convinced that Terry Pratchett was an incredibly original mind, a very clever writer. So I was sort of standing in the background waiting for someone like Mob and co to come along and actually make it, so here I am Apart from Terry Pratchett what attracted you to the project and in particular to this character? What attracted me to the project is the fact that it was being done. I think the fact that Harry Potter has been such a big success.
