How did you come to the idea of organizing Mikser Design Expo 2009?
This expo is almost an intimate project. It comes from our own needs and goals. Together with the Mikser organization I also deal with my own design studio reMiks. In the studio we always discuss the lack of more platforms in Serbia where studios can show their work to each other. There aren’t places where the industry can come and exchange ideas and experience with the designers. When I say “designers”, I always mean “creative people” because “design” is a really broad term. That’s how we started talking with the people that we collaborate on a daily basis. The expo is situated in a flourmill. Why did you choose this place? Every year we also organize the exhibition “Ghost Project” and this is the fourth edition. We were starting to look for a place where we can organize this exhibition. We always choose industrial, unusual spaces that are not galleries. In this way we want to illustrate this roughness, the rough quality of design that is not yet industrially explored but it’s just a
