Professional free skier C. R. Johnson died in a tragic fall, while he was skiing a steep chute in California’s Squaw Valley. The 26-year-old skier had just competed in the Winter X Games, and on Wednesday afternoon he was skiing with a group of friends, when the mishap happened. It is being said that he fell while trying to negotiate a “very, very tight, rocky area,” said Jim Rogers, a member of the Lake Tahoe-area resort’s ski patrol.
