How did Woodstock (1969) change America?

I love Woodstock! Okay, first off, it proved to America that hundreds of thousands of people can get together and have simple peace and prosperity. It proved that we could be one, without fighting, or anythign for those three days. Also, it marked teh end of an era…the war was teh peak and after Woodstock, hippies died out and so did the peaceful, hippish era. It was really sad, but totally revolutionary. America had never seen anything like woodstock, were people endured horrible conditions to just be peaeful and listen to music they loved. They did simply that. Hope this helps! http://www.woodstockstory.
