How did Trotsky and Lenin influence the FEBRUARY revolution in Russia?

0

Neither had much input in the February Revolution, Lenin was in Switzerland, and Trotsky was in New York. However, Trotsky arrived back in Russia earlier than Lenin (Trotsky arrived 4th May, Lenin 16th April) and soon was one of the dominant figures in the Petrograd Soviet. Trotsky, it could be argued, had a much greater influence on the February Revolution, as he had been one of the founders of the Saint Petersburg Soviet during the 1905 Revolution, which was the inspiration for the Petrograd Soviet.
