How did the twin towers collapse?
In order to explain the collapse it is important that you learn a little about physics. Without that it’s impossible to analyse the videos. The collapse appeared to happen in a smooth “floor by floor” motion, progressing symmetrically down each tower. Most videos corroborate this from different angles and perspectives. However, there are a few videos which show the progressive collapse initiating, and analysis of these opens up new questions. A symmetric collapse can only occur if the vast majority of load bearing columns break quickly at the same time. However, this is not properly explained by NIST.
