How did the truman doctrine and the marshall plan contribute to the vietnam war?
Truman was the first US president to have to fight a limited war, it was he that ordered the world’s first atomic weapon usage. And it was he, that had to stop the communists in Korea. His plans, although no doubt modified to meet the times, was still pursued in the fight to contain the spread of communism in Vietnam.
