How did the trio of Scot Rubin, Laura Foy, and Tina Wood get together for G4TV.COM?
LAURA: Scot and I worked together in New York at his company, Allgames.com. He hosted and produced a live daily talk show about video games and I directed it. Tina Wood was a writer and we met here at G4. Turns out she was great on-camera, as well as being a terrific writer, so we asked her to join our team as a co-host. SCOT: When I first brought the concept of the show to G4, it was clear that I would need a co-host who could talk about games without a script. Laura had been working as the shows associate producer, and Tina, as a female gamer and writer, was the guest on our pilot episode. The on-camera chemistry between Tina and me was obvious, and Laura’s energy and enthusiasm for the show was too great to keep behind the scenes.
