How did the service determine the different point scales and who determined them?
Air Force officials determined point values based on the mathematical inverse to the above health risk ratios. The lower the health risk, the more points a member will receive in that component. A change along the point scale is directly tied to the amount of increased or decreased health risk associated with that component.
