How did the Neolithic Revolution affect the gender roles?
The Neolithic Revolution affected gender roles because before, during the Hunting and Gathering days, men and women were equal in that they both shared work. After the transition from H&G to Neolithic, women stayed indoors more to take care of the increasing number of children they have since they now live in one stable place, instead of wandering around all the time during the H&G. So women are lower than men because they don’t work; men do, and they control the food amount coming into the villages.
