How did the Nazis try to get control of the workers?
They more or less brian washed them into thinking that A) the Nazi party would save them from the communists and B) that the Nazi party new exactly how to end the catastrophic depression they were in (i.e. kill the Jews who controlled too much of the banks and therefore the control of money, put people to work in the military and in factories building war machines, etc.) Also, the Nazis, with their parades and German Pride and “F” you attitude to the rest of the world, made it cool to be German again after a long and bitter WWI, defeat in that war, the moral crushing effects of the Treaty of Versailles and again, a devastating depression.
