How did the Nazi party attract people?
The Nazi party provided a people who had lost WWI, had been stripped of their dignity and were in the depth of the depression with promises of hope. The party gave back to the German people pride and hope. The Nazi party told the German people that they did not lose the war that the German will was undermined by the jews, communists etc. The German people were looking for someone who could make things better and promises were made by Hitler and the Nazis. It is easy to misdirect the real causes and problems when you provide scape goats for the failures of the country. Hitler used the Jews, the communists and the other minorities available. He attacked the aristocracy as abandoning the German people during WWI and leading the nation to defeat. The answer of cool uniforms etc may have had some impact but that was not the reason for their rise. Furthermore, the Nazi party once it came to power was able through its intimidation tactics to provide jobs to party members and their families. T
