How did the music of the Beatles, the rolling stones and the who reflect social cultures in 1960 ?
Contextually, they spoke to the social cultures in 1960 through current events and ideologies. The Beatles for example reflect the hippie, peaceful attitudes of the 60’s where the Rolling Stones reflect the rebellion, the grunge and absurd backlash of the 1950’s conservatism. I would do similarities and differences between Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Similarities: – Both speak of drugs and that social culture – Both are revoloutionary and speak of revoloutionary ideals of the 60’s – Both are rebellious and reflect backlash of 1950’s conservative ideals Differences: – The tone of the music to convey these social cultures – The way in which they portray the 60’s and rebellion (one through inspiration, one through hardcore rebellion) – The way they rebell against 1950’s ideals (one harder than the other) Hope I helped. And this is all of the top of my head, that’s what I’d right if I was to do an essay on this.

Older adults prided themselves in their general rejection of the new music, and teens found this rejection to be ample proof that older
