How did the mens rights movement become a movement of incest and child sexual abuse?
Gah! That article is horrifying! Each paragraph was more horrifying than the last! And that Penthouse would actually publish it??? Incest is regarded quite differently now than it used to be. For example, Freud thought all those troubled girls coming to him and telling him that their fathers were having sex with them were lying and expressing what they actually wished, rather than what actually happened. In the book The Imperial Animal (published in the 1960s) by two highly respected anthropologists, they just kind of throw out there the assumption that in cases of father-daughter incest, it’s daughters who are seducing innocent fathers.
