How did the Jewish prisoners die in concentration camps?
First off, you are correctly using the “concentration camp” term. Secondly many prisoners died of exhaustion, starvation, gas chambers, typhoid (Anne Frank is a famous example), and other horrible diseases (though I’m not sure, but its probably true that disentary, hepatitis, tuberculosis (TB) were common diseases tht killed). There are also stories of people freezing to death or having heat strokes (one documentary I saw where a survivor talked of how in the summer when she was taken away to the camps, her father had her put on her ski boots, at the time she said “but it’s summer” and her father said “I know”…later when the she was still in the camps and it was winter the Nazis had all the prisoners march through several feet of snow and she survived because of her boots, but mny girls only had sandals since they were imprisoned in the summer). hope I helped.
