How did the Israeli Palestinian conflict start?
Israelis flooded back to the Holy Land following WWII, since they felt that they would always be persecuted in countries where they were the minority. So, they set up the Jewish State of Israel, and a mere hours later, their Independence fight began, prompting an on and off conflict that has remained unresolved for over half a century now.
