The Allies defeated the Germans and opened the concentration camps. freeing the Jews. I’m not sure if that is really all of it though. The Jews has a tremendous amount of personal wealth stolen. (War is HELL). Most has not been returned because people literally did not have receipts showing the property was theirs. There are other issues that remain today. Any insurance company that MAY have had a life insurance policy is still under strict controls and represents a kind of political time bomb. Thus it is very hard to sell these companies. Because by their purpose and size they must be regulated. It would be very bad with the voters to appear to disregard this left over holocaust vent.
