Most of the stadiums face east, so I could really only shoot in the morning. I would set out at 3 a.m. so that I could be in Jacksonville by dawn and hope to hit Navasota before the sun got too high. That went on for over two months. It wasn’t possible to shoot more than two stadiums a day, and the distances were so great that it took a long time to get it all in the can.
