How did the following affect music of the Classical Period?

Well, I know Mozart and Haydn dedicated much of their music to various political figures (such as Mozart’s “Eroica”, which was going to be dedicated to Napoleon, but Mozart changed his mind). Dvorak (who I believe is romantic) wrote his “New World” Symphony at the time, which was in line with the American colonial period. As for art and nature, I think that was more Baroque and a bit Romantic then Classical. I mean, you had a few, such as early Beethoven’s Sonata No. 24 (“Spring”), but most were other periods, to my belief. I’m no Julliard scholar though, so I would get confirmation.
