How did the fall of communism effect the russian economy?
Well, actually if you think about it, communism isn’t gone in Russia, so you can’t really talk about a fall of the communism. They’re trying to make some law which can give the president the possibility to candidate again after a four year break (as long is it takes for another president to lead the country). This law grants Putin the possibility to get in charge again. About Russia’s economy, I can’t say it was too affected. Russians don’t let things go by like that. They still have the gas pipes that go through most of Eastern Europe, and they also have a lot of other resources. I don’t think Russian economy was affected.
