How did the experience of Rosa Parks help create an organised Civil Rights movement?
What really gets up my nose most of all, is discovering for the first time in my 68 year life, that dear Rosa Parks was actually charged with a criminal offence for refusing to give up her seat to a white man in the segregated Alabama bus all them years back. Rosa Parks – Heroine – speaks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzTkHrRkh… I cannot say exactly how Rosa’s experience helped create an organised Civil Rights Movement. All I can say is that people here in the UK were shocked back then to realise that America had something called segregation of the races. Look – it’s like this, there is only one race and it’s the Human race and I’m a member of it and so too was Rosa Parks RIP. “I have a dream”. .
