How did the EU stop illegal immigration by helping poorer countries economies?
This statement is completely inaccurate. The European did not have a problem with illegal immigrants coming into the EU and they did not ‘invite’ poorer country’s to join! edit; You are completely looking at this from the wrong perspective. Yes this is correct what you read. but you are looking at it wrong, the EU is not out to help poorer countries, it is out to encourage fellow neighbouring European countries that are part of the same economic community. Like Ireland was given much aid over the years by the EU, now that we are a thriving country country we do not receive any more ‘aid’ money, and there was a huge influx of Eastern Europeans into Ireland in the last 7 years. They now make up some 8% of the Irish population now i believe, so we are now giving back to Europe. I’m not exactly sure what your asking, you did not word your original question properly and it was very hard to understand, if you are more clearer in future with your questions you will get clearer answers!
