How did the design of the Titan come about?
“I got a phone call one day from a well-known angler Dave Plummer; he had been on holiday to Gran Canaria and gone on a jeep safari up into the mountains. It was a red-hot day and the safari stopped at one of the mountain lakes for everyone to have a swim and cool down. To Dave’s utter astonishment a bloody great carp swam past him! Dave and I made plans and went to Gran Canaria to pioneer the carp fishing on the island. Anyone who hasn’t visited the top of Gran Canaria will not realise what a wild landscape it is, it can be 50 degrees or minus 10 also at times hurricane force winds hit the mountains. “One day I was sitting fishing in gale force winds and looking across to the other side of the lake to a vista of high cliffs.
