How did the Declaration of Independence impact the world?
The french took the old saying, “No taxation without representation”, and they used it in their country. The French had so much debt from helping the Americans in the Revolutionary Period, that they needed to get taxed. The French followed the Americans lead and did their own thing. The Declaration of Independence influenced other countries to consider going independent.
