How did the Chromite and Shadow Rangers survive inside the Chromite cave?
The Chromite cave had crystalline lights which were apparently essential to the Shadows’ continued existence inside the cave (Pink vanished once the lights were shot out) [1]. As to the subcraft, it wasn’t mentioned in dialog, but it could be noted that a spotlight was mostly shining on the Chromite during his wedding-like introductory procession, if that makes a difference [1].
