How did the british naval blockade influence german submarine warfare in 1915?
The blockade blocked German raw material as well as food. The British at first did not want the Germans to roam the seas for more land or to threat others, but then they thought if they tried to starve the Germans, they would withdraw from war and BAM! It would be over. That’s when they wanted to play even and began to attack boats arriving near Great Britain so the British would not be able to receive artillery or food [most likely from the U.S.].
