How did the Board decide which influential stallions to use?
We traced back all 500 plus stallions (living and deceased) that are in our Stallion Book, to a small number of late 19th century stallions. We then identified the key stallion lines as far back as was reasonable. There may be more stallions added as time goes on, but for now these lines have been found in every Warmblood horse, which we have investigated, regardless of the registry of origin.
